At some point, It becomes a necessity for most of the internet wanderers to get the default settings of their web browser back. In case of Google Chrome, you can easily restore your previous default settings.
Reset means you will have a new Google Chrome with all the previous history, bookmarks, tool bars completely disabled. It’s like when you first time install the Google Chrome.
There are two ways to reset Chrome. We will discuss the both.
Reset Chrome To Default Settings
Method # 01
1. Go to the settings of your Google Chrome.
2. Scroll down to click on the Advanced Settings
3. In the Reset Settings area, click on Reset Settings button.
4. A dialog box will appear alerting you that the reset will disable the previously added features of Google Chrome including history and cookies.

Method # 02
You can simply type
chrome://settings/resetProfileSettings in the address to reset Google Chrome to default settings.
